Physical and Chemical Properties
Ammonium hydroxide, also called Aqua Ammonia, solution of ammonia gas in water, a common commercial form of ammonia. It is a colourless liquid with a strong characteristic odour. In concentrated form, ammonium hydroxide can cause burns on contact with the skin; ordinary household ammonia, used as a cleanser, is dilute ammonium hydroxide.

Application
1.Used in manufacturing rayon and other textiles, pharmaceuticals, paper, rubber, detergents, inks, and other organic chemicals;
2.Also used in photographic development, metal extracting, and water purification;
3.Also used as a fertilizer for direct application to the soil, a household cleanser, and a food additive;
4.Removing protein stains: Ammonia solution has a good dissolving effect on most protein stains, such as milk, blood stains, etc
5. Removing mold spots: For mold spots on clothes, ammonia solution generally has a good removal effect. But old mold spots should be neutralized with ammonia water first, and then treated with other methods. If the fabric allows, you can also use alcohol ammonia solution containing 3-4 parts of alcohol and 5 parts of water to treat the toxic spots.
Storage
Ammonium Hydroxide should be stored in a closed container and kept cool, otherwise, the ammonia gas will come out of solution and the material strength will be reduced.
