PHYSICAL PROPERTIES 
1,3-Butadiene is the organic compound with the formula (CH2=CH)2. It is a colorless gas that is easily condensed to a liquid. It is important industrially as a precursor to synthetic rubber. The molecule can be viewed as the union of two vinyl groups. It is the simplest conjugated diene.

APPLICATION  
1. Butadiene is also widely used in the chemical industry. Butadiene can undergo deep cracking and alkylation reactions to prepare important chemical raw materials such as ethylene and propylene.

2.In addition, butadiene can also be used to synthesize polymer and other polymer materials, and to prepare various chemicals such as chemical reagents and fragrances.

STORAGE   
Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from kindling and heat source. The warehouse temperature should not exceed 30 ºC. It shall be stored separately from oxidants, halogens, etc., and shall not be mixed. Explosion proof lighting and ventilation facilities shall be adopted.
