PHYSICAL PROPERTIES 
1,3-Butadiene is the organic compound with the formula (CH2=CH)2. It is a colorless gas that is easily condensed to a liquid. It is important industrially as a precursor to synthetic rubber. The molecule can be viewed as the union of two vinyl groups. It is the simplest conjugated diene.

APPLICATION  
Butadiene is the main monomer used in the production of synthetic rubber, which can copolymerize with various compounds to produce various synthetic rubbers and resins, such as raw materials for organic chemical products such as butadiene rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, and ABS resin.

STORAGE   
Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from kindling and heat source. The warehouse temperature should not exceed 30 ºC. It shall be stored separately from oxidants, halogens, etc., and shall not be mixed. Explosion proof lighting and ventilation facilities shall be adopted. It is prohibited to use mechanical equipment and tools that are easy to generate sparks. The storage area shall be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment.
 The storage area should be equipped with emergency response equipment for leaks.
