Application
1. Biological use
There is a special gland on the stomach wall of humans and other animals that can convert salt eaten into hydrochloric acid. Hydrochloric acid is a component of gastric juice (with a concentration of approximately 0.5%), which can maintain the most suitable pH value required to activate pepsin. It can also denature proteins in table salt and facilitate hydrolysis, as well as kill bacteria that enter the stomach with food.

In addition, after hydrochloric acid enters the small intestine, it can promote the secretion of pancreatic and intestinal fluids, as well as the secretion and discharge of bile. An acidic environment also helps with the absorption of iron and calcium in the small intestine.

2. Daily use
By utilizing the properties of hydrochloric acid that can react with insoluble alkalis, daily necessities such as toilet cleaners and rust removers can be prepared.

3. Industrial use:
Hydrochloric acid is a strong inorganic acid that has a wide range of applications in industrial processing, such as metal refining. Hydrochloric acid often determines the quality of a product.

4.In analytical chemistry, when using acid to determine the concentration of alkali, hydrochloric acid is generally used for titration. Titration with strong acids can make the endpoint more pronounced, resulting in more accurate results. At 1 standard atmospheric pressure, 20.2% hydrochloric acid can form a azeotropic solution and is commonly used as a reference substance for quantitative analysis at a certain pressure. Storage
Store in a cool, well ventilated warehouse. Storage temperature is less than 30ºC, and the relative humidity is less than 85%. Keep the container sealed. Keep separate from alkalis, amines, alkali metal and flammable or combustible substance and be careful not to place them together. The leakage emergency treatment facility and appropriate collecting containers should be available in the storage area.
