PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Aluminum hydroxide is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula Al (OH) 3, which is the hydroxide of aluminum. Insoluble in water and alcohol, soluble in inorganic acids and alkaline solutions.

APPLICATION  
1.Aluminum hydroxide can be used in the production of alumina products.
2.It is used in the production of inorganic salts such as aluminum fluoride, cryolite, and aluminum sulfate.
3.It is used in the manufacture of various flame retardants, waterproof fabrics, inks, glassware, paper fillers, and roller lubricants.
4.Aluminum hydroxide is used as a mordant in the dye industry.
5.Aluminum hydroxide colloid is used as a water purification agent because it can bind and precipitate turbidity in water.
6.Aluminum hydroxide is a long-established (non-specific) antacid with effects such as acid resistance, adsorption, local hemostasis, and ulcer protection. Its action is slow and long-lasting, but its effect is relatively weak.
