PHYSICAL PROPERTIES 
Styrene is an organic compound with the chemical formula C6H5CH=CH2. This derivative of benzene is a colorless oily liquid.The compound evaporates easily and has a sweet smell, although high concentrations have a less pleasant odor.

APPLICATION  
1. Monomers of synthetic rubber and plastics
As a monomer for synthetic rubber and plastics, it is used in the production of styrene butadiene rubber, polystyrene, and expanded polystyrene.

2. Engineering plastics
Copolymerize with other monomers to produce various engineering plastics for different purposes.

3. Decoration
Mainly used for manufacturing audio and video products, optical disc boxes, lighting fixtures, indoor decorative parts, and high-frequency electrical insulation parts.

4. Parts and building materials
Train and vehicle parts, automotive parts, ship plastic parts, telecommunications and electrical parts, and building materials.

5. Plastic products
It can be processed into thin films, wire and cable sheaths, pipes, various dielectric hollow products, injection molded products, fibers, etc. Widely used in industries such as agriculture, packaging, and automobiles.

6. Resin
The SAN obtained by copolymerization with acrylonitrile is an impact resistant and brightly colored resin.

STORAGE   
Polymerization inhibitor is usually added to the commodity. Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from kindling and heat source. The warehouse temperature should not exceed 30 ºC. The package shall be sealed and shall not contact with air. It shall be stored separately from oxidants and acids and shall not be mixed. It should not be stored in large quantities or for a long time. Explosion proof lighting and ventilation facilities shall be adopted. It is prohibited to use mechanical equipment and tools that are easy to generate sparks. The storage area shall be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and appropriate materials.
