Sodium dichloroisocyanurate, often abbreviated as NaDCC or SDIC, is a compound used as a disinfectant, bactericide, algaecide, industrial deodorant and detergent, and is a colourless, water-soluble solid. Soluble in water (pH 5.5-6.5).

Application

1. It is mainly used as a disinfectant, biocide and industrial deodorant.
2. It can be used for disinfection and environmental sterilization, for example in livestock, poultry, fish and silkworm raising, for bleaching textiles, for cleaning industrial circulating water, and to prevent wool from shrinking.
