PHYSICAL PROPERTIES 
Copper(II) sulfate, also known as copper sulphate, is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula CuSO4. It forms hydrates CuSO4·nH2O, where n can range from 1 to 7. The pentahydrate (n = 5), a bright blue crystal, is the most commonly encountered hydrate of copper(II) sulfate.Anhydrous copper sulfate is a light grey powder.

APPLICATION  
1. Mainly used as a textile mordant, agricultural insecticide, water fungicide, preservative, and also for tanning, copper electroplating, mineral processing, etc.

2. Used as a astringent and disease prevention medicine, as well as an agricultural fungicide.

3. Used as an analytical reagent, mordant, and preservative.

4. This product is the main salt for pyrophosphate copper plating. Simple composition, good stability, high current efficiency, and fast deposition speed. But its polarization force is small and its dispersion ability is poor. The coating crystallizes coarsely and is not shiny.
5. Used in the chemical industry to manufacture other copper salts such as cuprous cyanide, cuprous chloride, cuprous oxide, and other products. The dye industry is used to produce copper containing monoazo dyes such as reactive brilliant blue, reactive purple, phthalocyanine blue, and other copper complexing agents. It is also a catalyst for organic synthesis, spices, and dye intermediates. The pharmaceutical industry is often used directly or indirectly as an astringent and as an auxiliary raw material for the production of isoniazid and pyrimidine. The coating industry uses copper oleate as a toxic agent for ship bottom anti fouling paint. The electroplating industry is used as an additive for sulfate copper plating and wide temperature full bright acidic copper plating. Food grade used as an antimicrobial and nutritional supplement. Used as pesticides and copper containing pesticides in agriculture.
